Mun Green Man 02/10/2014

Caleb's green man had a horn and feathers coming out of its mouth, Very mystical.
Acorns were used by Tabby to help shape the mouth of her green man.
This is Thomas's finished green man, he was the only one to make his a considerable distance up the tree trunk. He persevered to finish it, even though it was very high up!

This is Tommy with his Green Man is to let people to
come into the forest because it is protected with his
scary face.

All of us recorded movies of us explaining how we did it.

Finding Fungi At The Mun

Lots of fungi was growing on logs, on the ground and on trees.
It was also hard to cut the King Alfred's cake - it's a type of fungi.
We had two trays and we put fungi in it and we had to sketch them too, not only as a whole fungi, but also a cross section where we cut them in half (safely).
Kelan took many pictures with the camera to record our findings.
We cut the fungi with Miss Leigh's pocket knife and a lot of care.

We found lots of mushrooms in the Mun.

The Running Squad at Gresham's Cross Country Friday 3rd October 2014

It was a sunny morning in Holt as the running squad took their talents to the fields of Gresham's in Holt.

We waited in our pit lane in the tennis court, put our numbers on and went through our pre-race warmup.

Joshua ran like the wind and came in 88th out of 222 runners.

Thomas came in second of the squad in 140th place.

Kelan was not far behind and managed an impressive 150th place. These runners must be commended on their efforts as they were racing in the boys Under 11 races against children some over a year and a half older than them,
Even after the race had finished, the runners kept going with smiles on their faces. They performed to their highest efforts and we are very proud of them.
