Goldilocks by Roald Dahl

This year we performed Goldilocks And The Three Bears, it was based on the Roald Dahl Revolting Rhyme version.
We rehearsed lots in the run up to the performance last night in the Village Hall.

The story is based around the trial of Goldilocks.

At the end we all got on the stage, including Acorn Class, who were mainly dressed as animals from the woods.

Remembrance Day

As a sign of respect for our fallen soldiers we all stood silently for two minutes at the 11th hour.

We were joined by Pre-School, parents and members of our community.

This year our teacher Mr Millin played his bagpipes, dressed in his family tartan.
This was followed by Eric Vickers reciting the salutation and another member of the British Legion playing the Last Post.

I apologise for the visual quality.

Science experiment

In Oak class we looked at a game that was called Buzzwire.
We wanted to make our own...

For this experiment we would need:
Blue tack
Wire
Crocodile clips
Battery
Buzzer

We were all concentrating very hard.

 It was very tricky.

We drew our designs on a piece of paper.

We bent the wire into the shape of our design.

And connected the crocodile clips to the wire.

 This one looks difficult.

Football 31.10.16

We entered an inter-schools football tournament.
We had great fun.
We were very fortunate to have blue sky and sunshine.

There was a big pitch....

And a small pitch.

We all tried our hardest.

Some of us got really muddy!

We had fun while we waited for our matches.

This is our federation team shot.
