Langham Dome

On the 23rd of May Oak Class went to Langham Dome and it was EPIC!

On Thursday the 16th of June 2016 Northrepps Primary School are going den building. Last time was a success and there were some awesome dens and some people had good ideas.

It is for a great cause, to save money for Save the Children. We always practice our den building skills at the Mighty Mun and enjoy making it a homely place. 

Roman Camp in Aylmerton

On the 5th of May Oak class went to Roman Camp in Aylmerton. Here are some pictures, enjoy:-)

 We found an old tree that's fallen over!

Lego

Oak class are very lucky to have Lego in school, and here are some models.

We play with Lego in groups so that we can learn how to work as a team, how to communicate, how to use description when we talk and of course use your brain appropriately. 

 There is a builder, an engineer and a supplier when you construct a Lego model. There are strict rules that everyone has to follow. We enjoy Lego because of the challenge and the reward of completing each task.

 We sometimes link it with our topic work!

Brancaster Residential Trip

Oak class had an amazing time at Brancaster, here are some pictures!

 We arrived at Brancaster and it looks amazing!

 This is the lovely garden outside for us to enjoy.

 We are listening to instructions about safety and about what we are doing in our time at Brancaster.

The Seal trip was really fun!

Some of us were sailing at 7 am in the morning!

During this activity we were blind folded. It was very fun!!!

Temperature

Oak Class are learning about different types of temperature, here are some pictures.

Superb Homework

The homework task was to choose any period in time to visit.   Alex (year 4) decided that one wasn't enough!

Technology

We  used sharp tools including a tenon saw. 

We started on our projects to build a mini egg dispenser by Easter. 

 In the workshop we are learning to measure.

Science Dome 1/2/16

Year 5 and 6 went to Cromer Academy to see an epic science dome. First we watched a movie about the sun and the planets.  Then we watched under the sea (luckily we could still breathe!), there was an underwater volcano which exploded.
