Mrs Woolley


Mrs Woolley and oak class made a banner and a blanket. The blanket is for the Norfolk and Norwich premature baby unit and the banner for our school.

Afternoon Tea 14.7.15

Today Oak Class hosted their 2nd Afternoon Tea. People from the village come to our afternoon tea to talk to children and hear their speeches. We had a raffle also a guessing game. You had to guess how many sweets are in the jar.

Residential Camping Trip

On the 2nd and 3rd Oak class went on a camping trip to the Mun. Mr Anderson let us use his land to camp on.  When we got there we built are tents. Thomas , Tom, Tyler-James, Kelan and Marcus used the 6 man tent. Summer, Kelly, Tabby and Islay shared the 4 man. Tommy, Josh and Kristen used the 2 man.

Miss Leigh brought fire starters to try to light a fire. Most of us struggled to to make a flame but Tyler manage to make a flame.

Mrs Hamilton was being pranked. The girls decided to put her tent near the toilet. Someone also put beans in her wellys.

Learning Outside The Classroom

We went to the field to measure in metres. 



 We threw different objects and measured how far they went.





24hrs @ The Mun.

We camped at the Mun.
We played in the tree houses.

We put up our tents and had lots of fun.

We made a fire and toasted marshmallows on it.


On Friday we had to pack up and leave.

Move up day at the Mighty Mun Thursday 9th July 2015

Oak class went to the Mighty Mun. It was part of a river investigation. We went in the  river and caught some little creatures. We caught little worms we had some big nets to catch them with.  
Our new Year 3s were also learning how to be safe at the Mun.

Tractor Visit 30/6/15



Miss Leigh is trying to pull the tractor with her mighty strength.


We all helped her.

Then the tail broke,
so we went inside the tractor instead. 











Mr Hannant brought his John Deere to Northrepps Primary School.
We went on the tractor, we even tried to push it but it was too heavy.

The Trip To Overstrand Beach




THE TRIP TO OVERSTRAND BEACH


On Tuesday the 30th of June the whole of Northrepps Primary School went to Overstrand beach and we saw the fabulous current.
When we got there we went in the water (SPLASH!)

Someone fell over (SPLASH!).
