Metaphor Poem
One of our class wrote this poem about his sister.
Lovely Lily
She is amazing cup of orange juice
She is a soft jumper
She is the sun that brightens my day
She is millions of happy endings
She is a cute, fluffy dog
She is a really fast car
She is a light pink dream
She is the summer of a thousand years
She is a cuddly bed
She is our amazing home.
Another pupil wrote about their dad.
My Dad
He is getting old
He is sometimes a stormy condition
He is the colour blue and grey
He is bacon in a crusty roll
He is a formula one car
He is an old dusty shed
He is home
He is a comfy sofa.
