RNLI Visit

We walked to the end of the pier.

We stopped for a photo.

We got to try on some of the gear the Lifeboat crew wear.
We were told that the crew have 10 minutes to get to the lifeboat, fully dressed for action, before it goes.

This is a Tamar lifeboat.

This is the view from the side of the lifeboat, you can see the slipway going into the sea.
We couldn't resist some silly photos.

We chose our favourite stone, explained why and put it into a sculpture.

Finally we walked up the slope to meet the bus.

Orienteering and Problem solving

Summer and Kelly with their map.
Today Oak Class went to Mundesley Junior School to do orienteering and problem solving.

Oak Class got given a map of the whole field and had to find mini little flags that had a letter on them. Then we looked on the map  and found where you are and wrote the letter that's on the flag in a circle near your location.
Tabby and Tyler running across the field.

"One year it snowed badly and you couldn't get on the railway."

"Mr Miles walked  over the hill to get some bread."

Toast Week

This week is SAT's week, the whole school is sitting tests to show how much we have learned.  Here in Northrepps we do it slightly differently, SAT's week is Toast Week.  We all start the day with toast, it makes sure we have eaten enough so we can concentrate and do our best.

There may not be much posted this week as pupil time is limited, however our teachers have planned for a fun afternoon later this week. Keep looking to find out what we are/have been doing.

Why not check out our infant class blog at acornclass99.blogspot.co.uk.
