Overstrand Study of Coastal Erosion Clifton Way

Oak Class ventured out to Clifton Way on the East side of Overstrand.

We found a variety of rocks, some of which we recognised were not natural cliff materials left over from the dumping of glacial till from the last ice age.
Can you recognise what they are?
Or where they may have been used?
We spotted the remains of the Overstrand Hotel and heard about the story of its demise.
On our promenade to the West side, we identified old and new bore pipes that are essential to the drainage and the overall stability of our cliffs.
It was a glorious Autumn day at our local beach.
